The media didn't show half of the speakers at the convention - the women, minorities, etc. The media is very bias and not fair. They want to make it look like the Republicans are all white. But it's not so. There are plenty of minorities that believe that having a federal budget, lowing the debt by reducing spending, getting people off welfare and working, cutting waste, etc. are good for the nation.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4341041630077859952.post-65652389721002862262012-09-13T14:05:01.410-04:002012-09-13T14:05:01.410-04:00Yes, I would agree with all three of your points, ...Yes, I would agree with all three of your points, Angus. Michelle Obama has the advantage of being a great speaker with plenty of charisma, without the disadvantages of having to actually make real political decisions that might prove to be unpopular! :-)Paulhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04125096218951977368noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4341041630077859952.post-64641360968979440112012-09-13T14:00:39.189-04:002012-09-13T14:00:39.189-04:00I think it's fair to say that for most British...I think it's fair to say that for most British people, the Democrats seem relatively familiar to us, whereas the GOP have such a different outlook on the world, it can be difficult to relate.Paulhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04125096218951977368noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4341041630077859952.post-87866333008594486562012-09-12T01:01:18.951-04:002012-09-12T01:01:18.951-04:00Eastwood was the star at the GOP. Though Clinton exceeded my (and probably nearly everyone's) expectations, I give credit to Michelle Obama for a really stellar speech.

The whole Jerusalem business irritates me. Having said that, I couldn't bear to listen to most of the Republican speakers! LOLExpat mumhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17798190669591053390noreply@blogger.com
